My first job was with The Miami Laker, where I wrote a column called Student Spectrum, covering local high school news. The position didn’t exist—I pitched the idea to the newspaper myself, showcasing my initiative and love for storytelling (and, of course, my affinity for alliteration). I have always loved writing, but this experience during my formative years was instrumental in shaping my passion for communications and amplifying stories that matter.
It laid the foundation for my lifelong commitment to sharing impactful news and connecting with the community.
